The G-STAR AC 220V Block LED Module represents a significant departure from conventional DC 12V LED sign modules. By operating directly on 220–240V AC at 50–60 Hz, these modules eliminate the need for a separate LED driver power supply entirely, reducing both the hardware cost and the installation complexity of illuminated sign fabrication. Sign makers can wire modules directly to the mains supply via a standard cord-and-plug, making large-format outdoor signs and building fascia lettering faster and cheaper to install.

Each 65×65mm block module houses a 2835-SMD 4-LED array and is driven at 4W, producing 480 lumens total output (120–130 LM in single-effect mode). The 170° wide-angle beam is delivered through a PMMA lens with 93% light transmittance, ensuring even distribution across large sign faces without hot spots. CRI ≥75 ensures colours are rendered accurately, important for branded signage where colour fidelity matters.

With a rated lifespan exceeding 10,000 hours and CE/RoHS certification, the G-STAR AC 220V module is built for reliability in commercial sign applications. The compact 65×65mm footprint allows dense placement for high-brightness signs or wider spacing for cost-optimised coverage. A waterproof variant is available on request for outdoor signage exposed to rain or wash-down conditions.
